The main purpose of the Code is to encourage all members of the Association to adopt the highest industry standards and comply with laws and regulations in the field of Islamic finance. The Code is mandatory for all practicing members and issuing organizations.

To ensure transparency of information about products and services.

To strictly adhere to all applicable laws and Shariah principles.

Prevention of Reputational Damage

To avoid actions that could damage the reputation of the Islamic finance industry or the Association.

A Structured and Fair Process

To ensure transparency and accountability, the Association implements a clear process for handling complaints against its members.

Filing a Complaint

Any interested party can file a formal complaint in writing, using a special form on the website.

Initial Review

The Ethics Committee reviews the complaint for its admissibility and validity.

Investigation

An impartial investigation is conducted with the opportunity for both parties to present their case.

Decision

A decision is made, which may range from recommendations for corrective action to suspension or expulsion from the Association.
